Coordinator of Student Athlete Development

Applications are being accepted for the position of coordinator for student athlete development.
As an essential position in the Student Success Center, the coordinator works with student athletes and former student athletes to help them find academic and co-curricular success, ultimately tied to student retention and persistence.
The coordinator works closely with athletic staff to support students in integrating their academic and co-curricular experience, while also balancing their athletic opportunities.
The coordinator provides direct academic support to student athletes.
The coordinator also helps student athletes who may transition away from their college athlete experience and remain at the college.
This is a full-time, twelve-month appointment.

RequirementsBachelor's degree in a relevant field.
Experience working with undergraduate student athletes on a college campus.
Preferred SkillsMaster's degree in a relevant field.
Understanding of student development issues and effective learning strategies.
Knowledge of NCAA regulations.
Experience at an NCAA Division III institution.
Experience in a college setting with academic coaching students with learning challenges, teaching, or coaching.
Ability to communicate effectively and interact professionally in a variety of situations.
Organization and computer skills.
Commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
The hiring pay range for this position is $40,000 - $45,000 per year.
