Head Women's Soccer Coach - Now Hiring

Cornell College, a residential liberal arts college and member of the Midwest Conference of the NCAA Division III located in Mount Vernon, IA, is seeking applications for a head women's soccer coach.
This is a full-time, 12-month position.
The head coach will manage the women's soccer program operations, including:
schedule and coach practices, and home and away competitions;monitor annual operational and recruiting budgets;ensure institutional, NCAA, and Midwest Conference obligations are met as head coach;select, train, and supervise coaching staff;In close partnership with the Office of Admission, organize and implement a successful recruiting plan to yield an appropriate number of quality student-athletes for the women's soccer program, including oversight of the communication flow;manage the physical conditioning and development of injury prevention techniques for student-athletes;complete necessary post-season administrative duties;provide general counsel, guidance, and inspiration to student-athletes regarding their overall success at Cornell College;assist, as needed, in developing positive alumni relations and working closely with development with fundraising efforts to support a competitive Division III athletics program;demonstrate community involvement with active leadership as a positive role model, including participation in team-based community service projects and encouragement of student-athlete participation.

QualificationsBachelor's degree required, master's degree preferred.
An extensive and accomplished coaching background in soccer is required, preferably at the collegiate level, along with a proven ability to recruit quality student-athletes.
A valid driver's license is required.
Working Location & ConditionsTravel is required.
Frequent weekend and evening hours are required.
Working environment includes both indoors and outdoors, exposure to various weather conditions, including temperature extremes.
Indoor work environment may not be air-conditioned during hot weather.
Must have the physical ability to walk, lift up to 50 pounds, run, bend, twist, climb, see, hear, and communicate in English.

The hiring pay range for the position is $40,000 - $45,000.
