Data Processing Assistant

Applications are being accepted for the position of Data Processing Assistant. This position is responsible for retrieval of prospect files from various websites/sources for uploading into CRM and will assist the Vice President of Enrollment. This includes but is not limited to search files, high school visits, college fairs, etc. Duties also include cleansing and data entry of this data in a timely manner, executing regular audit queries and critically identifying data issues, as well as scanning and uploading documents.
This position works 40 hours per week during the academic year and 20 hours per week beginning the week following graduation through the last week prior to the start of classes each year.

Qualifications and Education Requirements
Four-year degree preferred, two-year degree required. One to three years of related experience preferred.
Preferred Skills
High attention to detail, and speed and accuracy with data entry. Basic office skills including computers and copy machines. Knowledge of database management, Word, Excel, Access, etc. Ability to effectively communicate and interact professionally in a variety of situations (in person and on the telephone). A successful candidate will also possess strong writing and grammatical skills along with the ability to maintain confidentiality.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
